Mini FAQ
Quick Answers
Is a river cruise really 'all-inclusive'? On the lines we book — AmaWaterways, Avalon Waterways , Scenic and Viking— your suite, all dining, beverages with meals, daily curated excursions, gratuities and Wi-Fi are typically included. We break out exactly what is and isn't, in CAD, before you commit.
How far in advance should Canadians book for 2026? For peak Rhine, Danube and Christmas Markets sailings, 10–14 months ahead secures the best balcony suites and air-inclusive promotions. Off-peak France and Portugal still book well at 6 months out.
Which river is right for my first voyage? The Danube is the easiest 'first cruise' — smooth pacing, postcard cities, gentle excursions. The Rhine adds castles and vineyards. The Seine is for return travellers who want depth in one country.
